Last month, Microsoft introduced Touch Bar support to Office for Mac, bringing it to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Today, the feature is coming to Outlook 2016 as well, at least for Insiders on the Slow ring.
Microsoft says that the feature will give you access to your 'most commonly used commands' while you're working on your email or managing your calendar. For example, you'll see formatting options when composing an email or a meeting request, or you can use it to change between different views in your calendar. You can even use it to join meetings.
The firm listed a few other changes that are available in today's build, which is version 15.32 (170304). You can now translate emails from within Outlook by using the Translator add-in, and you can create tasks in Wunderlist and track email responses with Boomerang from within your inbox using add-ins.

If you're already an Office Insider, you can get it by going to Help -> Check for updates. You can also use that menu to enroll your Office installation in the Insider Program; however, you'll need to have an Office 365 subscription to do it. If you're not interested in being an Insider, the Production channel will likely see this update within a couple of weeks.
